Vietjet launches direct Colombo – Ho Chi Minh City route, opening the gateway to Sri Lanka
Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, Sri Lanka, today welcomed Vietjet’s inaugural flight between Colombo and Ho Chi Minh City, marking the launch of a new direct route connecting two prominent destinations in Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
The Colombo (Sri Lanka) – Ho Chi Minh City route operates three round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) at 18:15 (local time) and arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo) at 21:50 (local time). Flights depart from Colombo at 23:00 (local time) and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 05:55 (local time) the following day.
